Capsule injury in captain Manuel Neuer

Bayern Munich captain Manuel Neuer suffered a capsule injury on his right ankle in the 3-1 victory of the German record champions in the Supercup at Borussia Dortmund. The 35-year-old was therefore absent from training on Thursday.

Whether the goalkeeper on Sunday (5.30 p.m. /DAZN) is fit again in the Bundesliga home game against 1. FC Köln, Bayern left open.

Sven Ulreich, who returned to Bayern from Hamburger SV in the summer, is available as a replacement. Neuer played through the game against BVB on Tuesday.
