Chelsea player is set to move to Borussia Dortmund on loan

Borussia Dortmund shows interest in winger Callum Hudson-Odoi from Champions League winner Chelsea FC. According to information from SPOX and Goal, BVB plans to sign the former Bayern Munich player on loan this summer. Initially had Sky reported of the intentions of the black and yellow.

However, there is still no contact between those responsible for both clubs. But this should change soon. In addition to the Dortmunders, other clubs have put out their feelers for the 20-year-old, but it is not yet concrete between them and the blues.

BVB: Hudson-Odoi is under contract with Chelsea until 2024

Hudson-Odoi is considered a great talent. So far he has completed three international matches for England. Most recently, he made headlines because he was openly considering running for Ghana’s association in the future.

At Chelsea, however, the 20-year-old only takes on the role of the supplementary player under Thomas Tuchel. He has not yet played in the Premier League this season and sat on the bench for 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Saturday.

Nevertheless, it can be assumed that Chelsea does not want to give up Hudson-Odoi. Tuchel insists on a broad squad and therefore wants to keep the home grown in his ranks.

Hudson-Odoi’s contract at Stamford Bridge will run until 2024 after an extension in autumn 2019.
