The DFB announced this on Thursday.
The regional league justifies its application with a substitution error by Lower Saxony. In the course of extra time, coach Mark van Bommel brought on a sixth player when the score was 1-1. In the DFB Cup, unlike the last time at the European Championship finals, only five changes are allowed.
It is possible that the ex-Bundesliga team will be declared the winner of the first round comparison by the DFB sports court and will move into the second round instead of the wolves. The option of a replay is also possible.
