Eintracht Frankfurt apparently submitted an offer for Carlos Vinicius to Benfica Lisbon

Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt has apparently made an offer for striker Carlos Vinicius to Benfica Lisbon.

Like the Portuguese newspaper Record reported, it should be about a loan deal including a purchase option for 25 million euros. Benfica is said to be inclined to accept the offer.

It would be the Brazilian’s second loan in a row, as he was loaned to the Premier League last season. There, Vinicius scored a respectable ten goals for Tottenham in 22 appearances as a backup for star striker Harry Kane.

At Eintracht, the 26-year-old could replace Andre Silva, who had migrated to Leipzig, although there is not really a shortage of personnel in the striker position at Hessen. In addition to new signing Rafael Borre, Goncalo Paciencia, on loan to Schalke, is returning.
