Maria KeaneBayern Munich’s young star Jamal Musiala has put statements about his short time in the European Championship round of 16 between Germany and England into perspective. “I certainly didn’t want to criticize Joachim Löw. I have a lot of respect for him. So everything is cool and relaxed,” said Musiala at Sport1.
He only “replied to a question about whether I would have liked to have played longer at Wembley against England. Of course I would have liked to have played longer there because I was particularly motivated and had big plans in my old home,” emphasized the 18-year-old.
Musiala added, “I will never forget the experiences I made as a young player at the European Championships at a young age.”

His first impressions of the new Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann are exclusively positive. “The training under him is very good. I am sure that I can learn a lot from him,” said the midfielder: “I want to continue working on my first contact, on my speed of action and decision-making under pressure from the opposition. This is what training is for Julian Nagelsmann is excellently suited. “
