World footballer Robert Lewandowski from the German record champions Bayern Munich has crowned himself as the top scorer in the Bundesliga for the seventh time with 35 goals.
The Polish star striker, who may well leave Bayern at the end of the season, scored once in a 2-2 draw at VfL Wolfsburg. The ex-Dortmunder got the top scorer in the German football upper house for the fifth time in a row.
Lewandowski relegated Leverkusen’s Patrick Schick (24) and Norwegian star striker Erling Haaland (22) from Borussia Dortmund to the next ranks. The Scandinavian will leave BVB for Manchester City at the end of the season.
The most accurate German player in the 2021/22 season was national player Serge Gnabry from FC Bayern, who netted 14 times.
