FC Bayern – rumor: return of Franck Ribery an issue?
FC Bayern is reportedly still looking for another alternative for the offensive wing. Currently there are only three players in the squad for this role: Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry and the apparently willing to change Kingsley Coman.
A possible fourth man could now be an old acquaintance – Franck Ribery. The 38-year-old, who last played for ACF Fiorentina in Serie A and did not receive a new contract after two years, is currently without a club, but should at least be on the slip with the record champions. That reports the Gazzetta dello Sport, but points out that the Munich-based company will only want to tackle these personnel concretely at the end of August, when the transfer window closes – if at all.
This rumor was already circulating before, whereby the Bayern bosses are said to be divided internally as to whether the Frenchman actually still represents a sensible alternative.
FC Bayern – News: Ribery and Boateng keep fit on Säbener Straße
Franck Ribery and Jerome Boateng were spotted at the FC Bayern training ground on Säbener Straße. On Saturday, the two ex-players of the club had kept fit on a side court together with fitness coach Holger Broich. It was mainly about running training.
As the Evening News reported, it was only a friendship service of FC Bayern. Both Ribery and Boateng are currently on hold and have not yet found a club for the upcoming season. Both are said to be interested in a top club that should be as active as possible in the Champions League.
Last week, Ribery also played for the club’s legendary team on the sidelines of the FCB team presentation and knew how to convince. Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic then said: “Franck is in top shape, it’s fun to watch him.”
FC Bayern – News: Danny Schwarz is now looking after the loan players
Danny Schwarz (48) has found a new job at Bayern. The former Bundesliga player had recently coached the club’s second team with Martin Demichelis, but has now been internally transferred.
Again kicker reports, Schwarz will take care of the numerous professionals awarded by FC Bayern in the future.
“The topic had been around for a year at FC Bayern, many top European clubs have a representative for loan players,” Schwarz is quoted by the specialist magazine and assured: “I will now fill this task with life.”
Schwarz ‘responsibility does not only include the professionals on loan, but also players who are primarily in the second team, such as Sarpreet Singh, who is currently on loan to Regensburg.
Specifically, Schwarz should observe the players, be available to them as a contact person and generally ensure that loans will be more successful in the future than recently with people like Joshua Zirkzee (Parma, now Anderlecht) or Michael Cuisance (most recently Marseille). “We want to hold talks and be there for you when things don’t go that way,” said Schwarz, who in his new role will report to technical director Marco Neppe and campus boss Jochen Sauer – but also to Salihamidzic in the professional field.
