Before the encounter with 1. FC Köln, the German record champions will pay tribute to the “bomber of the nation” in speeches by President Herbert Hainer and Honorary President Uli Hoeneß. Then there is a minute’s silence, the players will again compete with a black ribbon.
At the invitation of FC Bayern, Müller’s companions will be among the 20,000 admitted spectators. The Bundesliga record scorer died last Sunday at the age of 75.
