Maria KeaneBundesliga club Hertha BSC are worried about veteran Kevin-Prince Boateng before the away game at Bayern Munich. “He hasn’t trained this week. Not even individually, so we’ll wait another day. I think it won’t work,” said coach Pal Dardai before the game on Saturday (6.30pm) with the German record champions.
Boateng was substituted for VfL Wolfsburg (1: 2) with back problems last weekend.
Still, Dardai believes in his team that lost their first two league games. “Nevertheless, we are well positioned with a broad squad that has minimal chances. We want to use that and take something away,” said the Hungarian.
Newcomer Ishak Belfodil, who came from TSG Hoffenheim, will, according to Dardai, go to Munich with him. The coach left it open whether the offensive man will be in the starting line-up.
