Maria KeaneJude Bellingham made a fan happy despite the defeat in the Supercup against FC Bayern on Tuesday (1: 3) and gave him a jersey.
After the game, the 18-year-old went to the south stand and already had his shirt in hand to look for a fan to throw it to. He eventually found a man in a wheelchair to whom he gave the jersey.
The man reacted emotionally, laughed with joy and, at the latest with the action, had already forgotten what he saw as the sad result of the game.
Bellingham later thanked the BVB fans in Signal Iduna Park on Instagram for the “unbelievable support”.
BVB, in turn, later posted the video with the jersey handover on Twitter using the hashtag “BorussiaVerbindet”.
