The move of the Jamaican national player Leon Bailey (23) from Bayer Leverkusen to Aston Villa is perfect. Bayer announced this on Wednesday.
The offensive player had previously passed the medical check at the Premier League club.
“In Leverkusen he went from being a talent to a top player. We wish him every success in his future career,” said sporting director Simon Rolfes.
Bailey scored 31 goals in 156 competitive games for the Werkself. “Leverkusen is a top club. Here I was able to reach a higher level. I will always hold the club, the team and the fans in my heart. Now it is time for me to start a new chapter in my career,” said Bailey.
