Mintzlaff will remain managing director until 2026

Maria KeaneOliver Mintzlaff will continue to direct the fortunes of Bundesliga club RB Leipzig in the future. The managing director and the club announced on Thursday the early contract extension for two more years until 2026.
Mintzlaff was quoted in a press release as saying that he wanted to continue shaping the Leipzig path, which was characterized by a “clear philosophy, permanent development and many successes”.
The 45-year-old has been working in this position since January 2016 and has been Chairman of the Management Board since July 2020. In addition, Mintzlaff is chairman of the board of the registered association (eV) of RB Leipzig.
