Julian Nagelsmann wants to slow down Joshua Kimmich

Julian Nagelsmann is apparently not satisfied with Bayern’s thin squad. The new coach would like a report from picture according to reinforcements.

Accordingly, the 34-year-old put pressure on those responsible for transfers internally. So far, however, he has held back with public demands: “We will still scour the transfer market, whether something makes sense or not,” he said last at the press conference.

Nagelsmann was not able to fall back on the entire squad in preparation. The national players only started training late after the European Championship vacation. In addition, there were repeated injuries-related failures – especially in the defensive network. After Alphonso Davies and Lucas Hernandez, Benjamin Pavard has now also been hit, who is out for up to four weeks.

That is also why Nagelsmann sees a need for action, especially in the right-back position and in the central midfield, it says. The youngsters like right back Josip Stanisic do not yet meet the highest standards, as the results (three defeats, one draw) in the friendly matches made clear.

Due to the self-imposed austerity course, new signings at Bayern are linked to departures. According to the kicker one is looking for a buyer for Bouna Sarr, Michael Cuisance and Corentin Tolisso.

FC Bayern: Salihamidzic denies Tolisso sorting out

Salihamidzic stated that Tolisso was not sorted out, but the Frenchman is still considered a sales candidate. In this way, the purchase of Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer could be realized.

So far this summer, FC Bayern has presented three newcomers: Dayot Upamecano, Omar Richards and Sven Ulreich. This contrasts with the departures of Jerome Boateng, David Alaba, Javi Martinez and Tiago Dantas.
