News: Zorc describes Klopp as his best transfer for Borussia Dortmund

Sports director Michael Zorc has described ex-trainer Jürgen Klopp as his best transfer at Borussia Dortmund.

“Because he shaped an era with us that is and was unique and difficult to repeat. That was a period of five years that has rarely been seen in the entire history of Borussia Dortmund, even over 100 years”, said Zorc im WDR2-Podcast “Simply Football”.

Klopp won two championship titles with BVB (2011, 2012) and the DFB Cup (2012). He also led the club to the 2013 Champions League final (1: 2 against Bayern Munich). Zorc will hand over his post to Sebastian Kehl after the season.
