Positive corona test at Pohjanpalo in Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen’s attacker Joel Pohjanpalo has tested positive for the corona virus.
As the Bundesliga team announced, the 26-year-old Finnish EM participant is in quarantine and will therefore not travel to the Werkself training camp in Zell am See / Kaprun, Austria, which begins on Friday.
Because the corona test was carried out immediately after returning from Pohjanpalo’s vacation, he had “no contact at all with the licensing team and the support staff at Bayer 04”, according to the club.
