Maria KeaneRB Leipzig has joined the call for the stadiums to be completely opened to spectators. “From our point of view, there is no objective reason to limit the number of spectators in the current form if all those present have provided proof of 3G when entering the stadium,” shared the club SID-Inquiry on Tuesday with.
Managing director Fredi Bobic from league rival Hertha BSC had recently stated that he was “certain that Bundesliga clubs will complain that they will open up completely. It will not be possible to stop it.” However, RB is reluctant to answer this question.
“Especially in times of the pandemic, we are in constant exchange with other associations and with politics. In the past we have shown a lot of understanding for the measures taken by politics. So we have not yet had the specific intention to complain,” the statement said . “The DFL has developed a very good hygiene concept for the Bundesliga clubs, which should allow us in Germany to reach audience figures from other top leagues in Europe.”
