RB Leipzig – Kampl praises Nagelsmann and Upamecano
RB Leipzig’s Kevin Kampl allows his former coach Julian Nagelsmann to move to Bayern. He said that in an interview with the kicker on.
“I’ve never seen someone know so much about football at such a young age and find so many solutions. […] He deserves the next step, “said the 30-year-old.
Nagelsmann succeeds Hansi Flick at FC Bayern. In addition to the coach, central defender Dayot Upamecano is also moving from Leipzig to Munich. “Julian and Dayot will get even stronger in Munich, I think,” said Kampl.
Upamecano is already one of the best central defenders for him. “When I was six, it was always like this for me: When the ball flew over us, I never panic because I knew that Dayot would be going anyway and that everything would be there,” explained Kampl.
RB Leipzig: Homegrown should be included in the professional squad
Sidney Raebiger used the preparation with the professionals at RB Leipzig. According to the kicker coach Jesse Marsch wants to integrate the 16-year-old firmly into the squad.
“Sidney has been very good for the past four weeks. The boy has quality,” said Marsch. Raebiger was allowed to train with the professionals under Julian Nagelsmann last season. He was also on the 33rd and 34th day of the season in the squad.
“I think Sidney has a great chance to be a very good player with us. This year – and in the future,” said Marsch.
RB Leipzig: March unhappy about published cabin address
Leipzig’s trainer Jesse Marsch is not happy about his published cabin address on Anfield Road like that kicker reported. At the time, the American had given a fire speech in the service of RB Salzburg when the score was 1: 3 at the break against Liverpool in the Champions League.
“This is not a fucking friendly game!” Said Marsch at the time. The club then uploaded the clip and went viral. Marsch himself was uncomfortable with the performance because he had used the F word several times.
