Sebastian Rode is injured for the time being

Eintracht Frankfurt has to do without captain Sebastian Rode “until further notice”. The midfielder has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.

The Hessians announced on Thursday. How long Rode will be out cannot yet be precisely forecast.

The 30-year-old had already missed the start of the season at Borussia Dortmund (2: 5). “We will do everything we can to ensure that he comes back as soon as possible,” said coach Oliver Glasner (46).
