Several professionals apparently in quarantine

FSV Mainz 05 is apparently getting a serious corona problem before the Bundesliga season starts. After the positive test in attacker Karim Onisiwo, according to a report, the picture have infected another professional, the health department has now quarantined several players. However, there was no confirmation from the club by Wednesday noon.

Onisiwo had already tested positive for the corona virus last Friday, the Rheinhessen announced on Sunday immediately before the first round match in the DFB Cup at SV Elversberg (8: 7 iE).

On Friday and also on Saturday, however, all other players were tested negative, so that the game at the regional league team could take place according to plan. Onisiwo was immediately sent to quarantine at home.

The Mainz team of coach Bo Svensson starts the new Bundesliga season on Sunday (3.30 p.m. live on DAZN) against runner-up RB Leipzig.
