Maria KeaneBVB striker Erling Haaland reacted with humor to an unfriendly gesture by a Wolfsburg fan when he celebrated his goal.
Haaland’s (21) jubilation after his goal to make it 3-1 in Borussia Dortmund’s away win at VfL Wolfsburg was captured by a cameraman, who also captured the reaction of a female VfL fan in the stands.
On his comeback, Haaland had reached the final score in the 81st minute, cracking two Bundesliga records and immediately afterwards ran to the sideline to cheer for his 50th Bundesliga goal. There he indicated with a wink in the direction of the stands.
The Norwegian pointed exactly where a visibly annoyed lady showed him the middle finger. All of this was perfectly staged by the cameraman who was behind or next to the VfL goal on the baseline.
The video circulated on social media after the final whistle (Check out the video here), Haaland himself ultimately reacts to it. “The title of ‘Man of the Match’ goes to the cameraman,” tweeted the 21-year-old in response to the clip.
