Maria KeaneBorussia Dortmund is apparently about to sign Marcel Halstenberg from RB Leipzig. According to a media report, only the last details have to be clarified and one condition has to be met.
According to information from Ruhr news BVB is only waiting for Thomas Delaney to transfer to Sevilla FC before Marcel Halstenberg’s move can be made perfectly.
According to the report, only detailed questions between Borussia and the national player have to be clarified. Among other things, it is about the length of the future contract – we are talking about whether it will be a three-year contract or a longer one. In terms of salary, the EM driver should earn around five million euros a year in Dortmund.
The reason for Halstenberg’s willingness to change is said to be the fact that he is only number three on the left side at RB under coach Jesse Marsch behind newcomers Josko Gvardiol and Angelino. In addition, his contract will expire next summer, so RB does not want to put any obstacles in the player’s way, even to collect a transfer fee.
The transfer fee should meanwhile amount to around ten million euros. At BVB, on the other hand, Halstenberg should be planned in the back left as well as in central defense.
