After the Italians rejected a € 100 million offer to blues, Chelsea is preparing, according to information from SPOX and Goal are currently making another offer – this time between 120 and 130 million euros.
A sum that the Nerazzurri may not be able to refuse due to their financial difficulties. Inter boss Giuseppe Marotta recently emphasized opposite Sports media set that they are firmly planning with the top scorer, who scored 30 goals in 44 competitive games last season.
“From our side, we can say: Yes, Lukaku is not for sale. Lukaku is an important piece on the chessboard that Simone Inzaghi has available to him,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are working to make room in the squad for the Belgian to return. According to information from SPOX and GoalTammy Abraham (contract until 2023) should leave the team of coach Thomas Tuchel.
A loan to league rivals Aston Villa, who have already been interested in the striker in the past, is under discussion. However, Chelsea prefers to sell the 23-year-old directly for just under 40 million euros.
