Liverpool keep title chance - Reds fans applaud Ronaldo

Liverpool FC impressively saved their chance for the Premier League title. Coach Jürgen Klopp’s team deservedly won the classic game against Manchester United 4-0 (2-0) and took the lead in England. The Reds are now two points clear of great rivals Manchester City with a game more.

It was a major setback for ManUnited in the fight for the Champions League spots. However, Ralf Rangnick’s team had to do without superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at Anfield, who was absent after the death of his newborn son.

Liverpool fans reacted very emotionally to the sad news: in the 7th minute, the supporters applauded to show their support for “CR7” and his partner Georgina Rodriguez. They also sang their famous “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.

Bruno Fernandes was disappointed: “I can’t say much, I can only apologize to the fans.
