Will Ralf Rangnick be the new head of sports after the Saudi takeover?

Manchester United will soon introduce the successor to the recently dismissed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: Ralf Rangnick is to take over the coaching position at the Red Devils, at least on an interim basis.

According to information from SPOX and GOAL, an agreement has not yet been reached, but the talks are well advanced.

According to The Athletic, which reported on it first, the final decision depends only on the approval of Lok Moscow, which is firmly expected in Manchester.

Rangnick has been Head of Sport and Development at the traditional Russian club since July.

The 63-year-old will work as head coach for the team of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo until the end of the season and then remain in an advisory role for two more years.
