Phil Foden is still absent from ManCity for weeks

Maria KeaneEngland international Phil Foden is missing champions Manchester City in the first few weeks of the new Premier League season. The 21-year-old midfielder continues to suffer from a foot injury, because of which he had already missed the European Championship final against Italy (2: 3 iE).
ManCity will start their title defense against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, Foden will miss the game as well as the two following ones against Norwich City and Arsenal FC. “It will probably take about four weeks,” said Foden Sky Sports.
Playmaker Kevin De Bruyne is also likely to miss the start of the season. The Belgian is still suffering from an ankle injury sustained at EURO.
