Third division TSV 1860 Munich founds its own music division

Trumpets for goals: Third division team 1860 Munich has founded its own music division in the football department.

As the traditional club announced on Friday, the lion music group will consist of eight to nine people and will mostly play “traditional Bavarian and Alpine brass and folk music”. All of the popular 1860 fan anthems, including the Sechzger March, are also part of the repertoire.

“We are very pleased that we will be able to organize our events such as the Advent Singing in the Sechzger Stadium with our own musicians in the future,” said Roman Beer, head of the soccer department. The occupation of the group can also be expanded to up to 35 people.

Anton Hörger, who has been conductor and musical director of the Alling brass band since 2017, is in charge of the “Music” section of the club.
