3rd league, 5th matchday: 1860 Munich with liberation

The TSV 1860 Munich landed a break with a win on the 5th matchday of the 3rd league.

The Lions won against Viktoria Köln on Tuesday evening with hits from Richard Neudecker (40th), Dennis Dressel (55th) and Merveille Biankadi (82nd) 3-0 (1-0) and now have eight points on their account. Cologne remain on the relegation ranks with one point from five games.

1. FC Kaiserslaitern has missed its second win in a row. Just three days after their 3-0 win against the 60s, the Red Devils lost 0-1 (0-1) on matchday five at Halleschen FC. Tom Zimmererschmied (19th) scored the decisive goal for the Sachsen-Anhaltiner. Kaiserslautern is still stuck in the table cellar with four points, while Halle now jumps to second place, at least temporarily, with ten points.

Viktoria Berlin prevented the second defeat in a row after three wins thanks to a late goal by Soufian Benyamina (89th). The promoted player played 1: 1 (0: 1) at FSV Zwickau.

Waldhof Mannheim also clearly beat SV Meppen 5-0 (2-0), relegated Eintracht Braunschweig won 3-0 (0-0) at SC Verl. The remaining five games of the day will also take place on Wednesday from 7 p.m. onwards.
