Felix Götze (23) from the third division soccer team 1. FC Kaiserslautern suffered a hairline crack in the skull in the game at Viktoria Berlin (0: 4) on Sunday and was even in intensive care. He left it on Monday and is allowed to go home on Tuesday. The FCK announced on Twitter.
“According to the circumstances, Felix Götze is doing better,” wrote the Red Devils about the younger brother of 2014 world champion Mario Götze. The defender is being treated in a Berlin clinic.
“Thanks for the many well-being wishes. I’m fine so far,” Götze himself wrote in an Instagram story on Sunday evening. “I saw the boy, he was no longer really responsive,” said FCK coach Marco Antwerpen after the game MagentaSport.
