Borussia Dortmund lead the way after winning the reserve duel

Borussia Dortmund II jumped to the top of the table with a win in the turbulent reserve duel of the 3rd division at least until Saturday. BVB won 5-2 (3-2) at SC Freiburg II at the start of the third matchday and remained unbeaten with seven points.

Freiburg (two points) are still without a win.

In the clash between the two promoted players, Kevin Schade (13th) gave the hosts an early lead, but Marco Pasalic (13th), Timo Bornemann (16th) and Richmond Tachie (22nd) quickly turned the game around.

After Schade’s goal (32nd), Berkan Taz (59th) and Cebrails Makreckis (90th + 5) ensured clear conditions after the break.

In the final phase, 16-year-old Abdoulaye Kamara came on as a substitute for BVB, who came to BVB from PSG and trained with the professionals.
