BVB: Haaland release clause can apparently increase
Erling Haaland’s release clauses at Borussia Dortmund in the coming summer is apparently not at a fixed 75 million euros, but could rise to up to 90 million euros depending on success. That reports Sport1 without referring to the exact requirements for this case.
Haaland is still under contract with BVB until 2024, but may leave the club in 2022 for a fixed transfer fee. Those in charge ruled out a change this summer. Most recently, the 21-year-old striker from Norway has been linked to almost every top European club.
Haaland contributed three goals and two assists in the 5-2 win on the first day of the Bundesliga against Eintracht Frankfurt.
BVB welcomes FC Bayern to the Supercup
On Tuesday evening (8.30 p.m.), cup winners Borussia Dortmund will receive German champions FC Bayern Munich for the Supercup in Signal Iduna Park. The game is broadcast on Sky and Sat1.
Dortmund has to do without Thorgan Hazarad. The Belgian international complained of pain in his ankle after defeating Frankfurt. “We’ll see what isn’t the way it should be,” said coach Marco Rose. “We had little regeneration and actually no opportunity to train on Saturday after our season opener.”
About the Supercup, Rose said: “Every game can be a clue. This is a prestige duel that we take very seriously. We want to show that we are there and ready for the season.”
