Now Sebastian Kehl, head of the licensed players department at BVB, has commented on the rumors of Delaney’s move to Seville. “I can’t confirm yet. The only thing I can say is that something is happening,” said Kehl at Sky before the Bundesliga game at SC Freiburg.

“That sounded a bit weaker in the last few days, but now there is a little movement,” continued the 41-year-old. “From our side it was also clear that we would only deal with something if we hand over someone. That is why we will wait for the next few days, but we are prepared for all scenarios.”

According to Spain’s largest sports newspaper, the fronts between BVB and Seville had recently hardened. BVB is demanding a transfer of ten million euros for Delaney and is currently not ready to move away from this amount. But that’s too much for Seville.
