BVB, rumor: Delaney deal with Sevilla is shaky

Thomas Delaney is actually supposed to leave BVB this summer. Sevilla FC is considered to be very interested, but the transfer is not yet in sight. Like the Spanish one Marca Now reported, the negotiations are said to have stalled.

According to Spain’s largest sports newspaper, the fronts have hardened. BVB is demanding a transfer of ten million euros for Delaney and is currently not ready to move away from this amount. But that’s too much for Seville.

So there are currently no movements in the negotiations, but that could change in the next two weeks. Delaney is still the preferred player of Seville’s sports director Monchi, and the Dane would like to leave BVB a year before the end of the contract.

Dortmund, News: BVB quartet around Hummels before comeback

Mats Hummels is about to make a comeback at Borussia Dortmund. The defense chief resumed team training after his patellar tendon problems.

Borussia Dortmund can hope that the personnel situation will ease soon. With Hummels, Emre Can, Julian Brandt and Raphael Guerreiro, five recently sorely missed professionals are about to make a comeback. “We have a few guys who are on the verge of becoming an option again – even if they haven’t had much training so far,” said Dortmund coach Marco Rose before the Bundesliga game on Saturday at SC Freiburg.

The coach left it open whether one of the players is already an option in Breisgau. But since they only trained with the team for the first time on Friday, a starting line-up is unlikely. “After the final training we will decide who makes sense, who is there and who is not,” commented Rose.

BVB, News: Zorc on Watzke: “He’s so pessimistic”

Sports director Michael Zorc and managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke made sure that Borussia Dortmund is where it is at the moment thanks to their successful work together over many years. And yet both BVB alpha animals are different.

Behind the scenes at Borussia Dortmund, Michael Zorc and Hans-Joachim Watzke do not always agree. Or rather, Zorc seems to be a much more optimistic contemporary.

in the WDR2-Podcast “Simply football” said the BVB manager about Watzke: “He’s so pessimistic, that’s cruel. If all his predictions had come true in recent years, I would now be working somewhere in the third division.”

Zorc also told about his relationship with top player agent Mino Raiola. You can find all statements about it here.
