Haaland move to PSG? “I don’t believe in it”

Gladbach’s managing director Max Eberl does not believe in a departure from Dortmund’s Erling Haaland to Paris Saint-Germain. Even with an offer of 170 million euros, BVB would not be weak.

“I don’t believe in it,” said Eberl Image live about a possible Haaland transfer. Recently, there were rumors that PSG wanted to bring Haaland to replace Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe could join Real Madrid in the next few days.

A possible transfer fee for Haaland is 170 million euros. According to Eberl, BVB would not be weak even with such an immoral offer: “As I know Aki Watzke, the money would not be enough for him.”

Haaland is not replaceable for BVB ad hoc, says Eberl: “There is no adequate backup for Haaland. All of the season’s goals would be in jeopardy. Aki is black and yellow. BVB has always remained steadfast at Haaland and that is what I think friendly.”

BVB apparently wants Callum Hudson Odoi

Borussia Dortmund could still be active before the end of the transfer window on Tuesday. Dortmund works according to information from SPOX and Goal also on a transfer from Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi. You can find more information here.

Marco Rose? Eberl would hold on to him again

Eberl has defended his decision to keep Marco Rose as coach in the closing stages of last season. Rose had already decided to move to BVB before the season’s final spurt, but Eberl decided not to change coach.

The fans’ aversion to Rose had “not passed the team without a trace,” said Eberl Image live. Nevertheless: “I am 100 percent convinced of Marco Rose as a coach. I would make the decision to hold on to him again.”

“In terms of sport, there was no other coach for me who would have given me a higher chance of reaching the Champions League,” said Eberl. Gladbach lost three of the last five games of the season and completely missed the European Cup places with eighth place.

Nevertheless, Eberl still has a “very good relationship” with Rose: “We are in contact, not regularly, but we write to each other.”
