Lionel Messi sees Robert Lewandowski as a serious competitor in this year’s world footballer election. “Lewandowski had a great season,” said the Paris Saint-Germain superstar France Football asked about the possible titleholders.

Holger Badstuber has commented on a possible return to FC Bayern after his career has ended – in whatever role. “Bayern Munich will always be a part of my heart, I will always be connected to the club. Whether in the future remains to be seen,” said Badstuber at Sport1.
The 32-year-old said, however, that the end of his career is still “a long way off”. “I still have so much fun playing football. I want to maximize my time abroad to make further personal developments and see the world from different perspectives,” said the central defender.
Badstuber played for FC Bayern from 2002 to 2017. In the summer he moved from VfB Stuttgart to Switzerland for FC Luzern, where his contract expires in 2022. In the current season, the Memminger has so far played 12 competitive games for Lucerne.

Former Munich-based Philippe Coutinho could allegedly become the first well-known addition to the nouveau riche English club Newcastle United. The Spanish newspaper reports Sports.
